Relics

Relics – consisting of Amber, Matakh, Valor Marks, Salvaged Jewelry, Lost Tek and Refined Amber Dust – are used to upgrade airship facilities on The Flameseeker. These are overhauled Heirlooms from the base game. Lost Tek is the equivalent of Blueprints, required for the development of Side Decks, which are revamped Districts. Refined Amber Dust can be used as a secondary currency to purchase unique provisions during the preparation of an embarkation to a dungeon.

In dungeons, Valor Marks stack to 16, Matakh stack to 12, Amber stacks up to 6, TBA.

Preferred Locations

Relics can be obtained in any location; however, each location tends to drop one type more than others. This means that if you are looking for a specific type of Relic, it pays to dive into quests in that location. Also, take note of the end-reward for quests, as a number of Relics will be listed as a guaranteed reward for successful completion (though not necessarily matching the commonly-found Relic listed below).
