The Levantine Champion is a Levantine/Human enemy found in the Catacombs. These fighters are formidable foes, sent forth into the Catacombs by the Vizier and led by the Levantine Janissary. Champions are scantily clad, wearing only steel gauntlets, a gladiator helmet and shorts.

Behavior

Levantine Champions are powerhouses, with high health and damage without much to add to the enemy team directly.

If Riposte is not active he will use Savage Shout marking themselves and activating riposte.

Chest Caver is a very potent move, so its wise to take him out quickly with heroes like bounty hunter or debuff his damage. Due to his low accuracy a hero with high dodge can attack them while riposte is active with minimal risk.

Skull-Smash Dash has the potential to be even more dangerous then Chest Caver if it stuns the wrong hero at the wrong time, therefore its wise to not cause the Champion to fall into the back ranks.

Strategy

Due to his low ACC Hound Master guards are effective at preventing damage from Chest Caver.
