The Troglodyte Spawn is a Troglodyte/Beast enemy found in the Caverns on Champion difficulty.

Behavior

The Spawn does no damage on its own and acts similarly to swarming enemies.

Synaptic Bond forces an ally to guard it and grants a 30% bonus to PROT, -CRIT Recieved and Stun Resistance. Its only used once on the Prep Round and will target the ally with the highest health twice as often, it will not be used on the Lesser Sandwurm.

Gestate does 20 Stress damage. It will always be used on turn 2 and has double the chance to be used on the hero with the highest stress.

Miraculous Emergence will be used on turn 3 if its health is above 50%, transforming into a dangerous Perfected Prodigy.

Premature Explusion will be used on turn 3 if its health is below 50%, transforming into a lamentable Aberrant Prodigy.

Both heal for 50% on use.

Like all Troglodytes it ignores stealth when attacking.
