The Flayed is a Wildlander/Human or Kvarotz/Human Boss encountered first in the plot quest Errant Daylight and then as a roaming boss which has a 50% chance to appear in Champion dungeons when she is in the region.

Behavior

During 'Errant Daylight'

The Flayed starts the fight with a Wildlander Raptor and Wildlander Painwarden.

She will use Furious Wail on the Prep icon.png Prep Round.

Furious Wail does low damage, Stress and Debuffs Poptext bleed.png Bleed Resistance and Stress Received. It has a 1 turn cooldown.

Face Breaker does moderate damage and a high Poptext bleed.png Bleed. It has a 1 turn cooldown. This skill is more likely to be used.

Pain Train does high damage, moves her Push forward.png Forward and Pushes the attacked Hero back 3 places.

Her move order will always be Furious Wail -> Face Breaker -> Pain Train for the first 3 actions.

She has a small chance to target the Hero with the lowest HP. (0.25 weight relative to other targeting)

Roaming

The Flayed is mostly the same but with two additional skills, an extra action and she is alone.

Dome Crusher is functionally identical to Face breaker. Now has no cooldown.

Face/Scream of the Beast are identical to Furious Wail and its Prep icon.png Prep Round effect. Now has a 3 turn cooldown

Pain Train is the same. Now has no cooldown.

Head Hunting is new and is used to mark two rows to be attacked by Encapsulation. It has a 5 turn cooldown. It has a 2x chance to target Heroes with the lowest Poptext bleed.png Bleed Reistance.

Encapsulation does low damage but has the highest damage Poptext bleed.png Bleed in the game at 20 points. It has a 5 turn cooldown.

Her move order will always be Face of the Beast -> Head Hunting -> Pain Train or Dome Crusher -> NOT Encapsulation -> Encapsulation for the first 5 actions.

After action 5 she will always Prioritise Head Hunting and Encapsulation if they are possible.

She has a small chance to target the Hero with the lowest HP. (0.25 weight relative to other targeting)
